Four dozen cupcakes for the kiddo's 4th birthday party.
It took me about 4 hours to get the marzipan just right and another 4 hours to bake, ice and decorate.
It took the kids exactly 1 1/2 minutes to inhale them and ask for more.

I probably would have bought them directly but I don't think they would have made it safely to Texas.
The cupcakes look great. I have learned that it does not always pay to spend a lot of time preparing a meal or special treat for the kids because they usually do not apprecitate and it is gone in a matter of seconds. As they get older they do seem to express their appreciation a little more before devouring the item, but it is still gone all to quickly. I will try to call and talk to Andrew tomorrow for his birthday, but if I forget please tell him Happy Birthday from his Aunt Mary. I was looking at this earlier and when Abbi saw Andrew she said, "look there is my Andrew, I miss him". I thought it was so cute. We all miss all of you!!
