Not all bodies of water in Texas are brown. We have proof! This beautiful man made lake is about 1/2 a mile from our back yard. We don't spend nearly enough time there but this summer Andrew loved being dragged around behind the boat in the tube. He wanted to go "super sonic fast" and we complied. Never mind that super sonic fast is actually just slow enough that even a fishing boat from 1952 passed us up at warp speed. Which by the way five minutes later we had to tow it to shore because it broke down. Right now this lake looks more like a pond but it should be back to it's full glory by spring.Wednesday, December 17, 2008
